Sourced from the Bulang Mountains of Yunnan. These 8g Sheng Puer Balls are 9 years old but have not yet lost any of the classic punch in the mouth flavour that screams Bulang. The first infusion is soft and sweet but quickly develops the strong astringency by the second infusion. The astringency fills the mouth swiftly and leaves a short sweet finish. Recommended for regular Puer drinkers only!
We recommend Gaiwan or Gongfu brewing and using the whole ball (don’t break). It will quickly open by the second or third infusion.
Flash 10 sec infusions work well for the first 6 steepings. Later infusions 20 secs.
