A beautiful delicate green tea made from early spring buds and fresh leaves creating a fresh clean flavour with lingering sweet aftertaste.  Gu Zhu Zi (Purple Bamboo) is special tea from the Zhejiang Province which is the home of China’s famous Long Jing.   In the past it was a tribute tea for more than a thousand years and Lu Yu, the famous tea master, believed that Gu Zhu Zi Sun was the very best tea. Today it is created by one of China’s few female tea masters Pei Hong Feng. A perfect tea for those special moments with friends and family or times of reflection as you watch the leaves dance daintily on top of the water.

Brewing Guidelines
Teaware: 250ml glass, porcelain/ceramic pot
Amount: 2 rounded teaspoons (2g) of tea leaves
Water: 85°C (boiling) filtered water
Infusion: First infusion at least 2 minutes
